Race Coverage
We provide coverage for about 14 races a year. These races run usually from May to October. We travel from all over to attend these races. We are all volunteer participants and do not receive any monetary value for the services we provide. We have a wide variety of persons who come together during the summer to provide emergency services to these racers and their families. We love what we do and appreciate all the support we receive from the fans, officials, racers and their families.

Capsule Training
We provide capsule training for the racers to be shown the process for self rescue in the event of an accident. They are required to retake this training at least every two years. We put them in a real boat capsule and roll it over. They have to remove themselves from the capsule without assistance to pass. We have safety divers standing by during the training so we can intervene in case anyone has trouble.

Team Training
We do training with the team to cover new technology that comes out, such as new hinges for capsules, new team equipment, driver safety gear, and new style boats. We do training during the season before races and also during the off season at region meetings.
