We are proud to announce that Smithwick's Sting Mate is now the official sting relief product for the Region 4 Rescue team for 2011. They provide sting relief sprays and gels for jelly fish stings. In the past we have relied on home remedies for relief from stings we receive when doing rescues at the races. Now we will have a great product on the boats to help with any stings we receive. Thank you again for being our 2011 sponsor. http://www.stingmate.com

The Hampton Cup regatta was, as usual, a great event. On Friday we had a minor accident when the GNH 83 lost his wings in a close call with GNH 115. The rest of the day was great racing without any incidents. Saturday started out with action packed racing until the S boats came out. During their heat the S-19 and S711 got together and the S-19 was left severely damaged. The driver from S711 was turned over to EMS for further evaluation. S-19's driver was unijured. Sunday's event was cut short do to storms coming into the area and winds picking up.
